Branding
Product identity, logos, browser icons, social previews, marketing copy, and email branding across your Edge application.
Your brand appears throughout the customer journey, from the first shared link to sign-in and transactional email. Edge Kit centralizes product settings and shared assets so you can make these surfaces consistent.
Product identity
Set VITE_PRODUCT_NAME and VITE_URL through app configuration. The name appears in shared product copy and metadata; the URL supplies the origin for public links.
VITE_PRODUCT_NAME="Acme"
VITE_URL="https://app.example.com"Keep your local URL during development. Use the production values at build time and align the auth origin when deploying.
Logos and icons
The shared logo and wordmark components are defined in src/modules/common/logo.tsx. Replace their artwork with your own SVG or image while keeping the shared components in use across headers, navigation, and app layouts.
Replace browser icons in the public assets, including favicon.svg and favicon.ico. Check small sizes and both color modes; a detailed wordmark is often unsuitable as a browser icon.
Social previews
Replace public/og.png with a 1200 by 630 social image for your product. Blog posts can use their own thumbnails.
The SEO guide covers titles, descriptions, canonical URLs, and link previews. Review a shared link using the production hostname after deployment.
Copy and marketing
Update the landing page, navigation, pricing labels, and contact details to describe your offer. Keep visible text in your translation catalogs, even if you initially launch in one language.
The marketing views are React components, so you can reorder sections or replace them with your own layouts. Components covers shared UI patterns; blog and legal pages covers articles and policies.
Emails
Email templates use public logo assets as well as the product settings. Replace the email logo images under public/images/ and review both the transactional and welcome-email layouts.
Use pnpm email to preview the result. Check the product name, readable logo, sender identity, links, and translated copy. Images in delivered email need an accessible public URL.
Brand consistency
Check the landing page, pricing, sign-in, dashboard navigation, browser tab, social preview, and a transactional email. Review narrow screens and both color modes so your new identity works throughout the app.
